Please read the following terms and conditions. By using this site or placing an order, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. All opinions expressed on this site are those of mamigreen and based on personal experience with the products. All sizes are approximate and colours may not match those displayed by your computer monitor. If you have a question that is not answered below, please contact me.
1. Ordering
mamigreen can only accept orders from within the UK. You may order online and will recieve an e-mail confirming your order. You may also order by telephone if you prefer.
2. Payment
I accept payment by cheque, debit card or credit card (through the secure server at Secure Trading). If paying by cheque, please e-mail or phone mamigreen with your order. Cheques should be made payable to 'mamigreen', specifying your order number, name and address on the back. Please send to mamigreen, 88 Heol Isaf, Radyr, Cardiff, CF15 8EA. Items will only be dispatched after cheque clearance (please allow up to five working days for this). Mamigreen is not VAT registered.
3. Dispatch
I aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible after receipt of payment. This usually means within 24 hours if paying by card (Mon - Fri)
I only display items which I hold in stock, although occasionally simultaneous orders may deplete stock levels. If I cannot dispatch your order within 5 working days, I will email you with an estimated delivery date. You may then decide to wait for the order, accept a partial order, choose an alternative product or have a full refund.
4. Delivery
I use either Royal Mail postage (with enhanced compensation where appropriate) or a courier service to deliver your goods. Which service is used depends on the size and value of your order. To keep postage costs low I may split orders into two. If I do this the parcels will be marked accordingly. Most orders will arrive within 3-5 days from dispatch, but if you have not received your order within 14 days of making payment, please contact me so that I can investigate. If you require more urgent delivery please contact to discuss your requirement.
NB:
With courier service you will need to be available to sign for the parcel on delivery. The courier will make two attempts to deliver your parcel, if these are unsuccessful then the parcel will be returned to us at considerable expense. I reserve the right to charge for the extra costs incurred.
If a parcel is returned due to incorrect postal address or refusal of acceptance by customer then I will only refund purchase price less the cost of initial delivery, and a charge for extra costs incurred. If your order qualified for free delivery then I will deduct postage at cost from your refund.
Currently a charge of £10 is payable to cover redelivery or restocking.

If you wish to pick up your parcel then delivery prices will of course be deducted from your invoice.
Non-mainland UK:
Prices above may differ, if your order is affected I will contact you with details of specific delivery costs at which point you may cancel your order without obligation.
6. Returns
I hope you are happy with your order. If you are not fully satisfied, please advise me as soon as possible by email.
Unwanted items
If you simply change your mind about a delivered item, I will accept it back within 28 days of delivery if it is unopened, unwashed, unused and in a resaleable condition. Sale or end of line goods are returnable for refund or exchange within 7 days of delivery only. Customised / bespoke nappies are non-refundable unless faulty. Babycare products (toiletries) and second hand nappies cannot be returned.
I will refund you the full cost of the product but not the cost of initial delivery or your return postage. If your order qualified for free delivery then I will also deduct postage at cost from your refund. You must pay for the cost of returning the goods to me.
Faulty Items
All products are checked personally before dispatch and I make every effort to ensure that they reach you in perfect condition. I guarantee all products against defects in materials or workmanship, for 28 days from delivery. I will send a replacement item or full refund on return of the faulty item, of course refunding second class return postage. Please include a brief description of the problem, your invoice number and contact details, stating whether you require a replacement or refund.
Please note:
I cannot be held responsible for any items lost or damaged in return post. Returned packages remain the customers responsibility until received by mamigreen. I strongly suggest that you get a certificate of posting or appropriate level of enhanced compensation from your post office so that you can claim compensation from Royal Mail should the parcel not reach us. Please contact me to discuss this if unsure.
The above conditions do not affect your statutory rights and in particular you should note that the Distance Selling Regulations apply to orders made over the Internet.
7. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order for any reason before it is dispatched please contact us by email or telephone.
8. Security & privacy
I request certain personal information from you so that I may process your order, and may keep your details for future reference. Any personal information kept will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. I will not pass your personal information on to any third party.
I may occasionally send you details of promotions or new additions to our product range by email. If you do not want to receive such information, please email to let me know.
I do not store debit or credit card details and keep no record of them once your payment has been made. For your security and peace of mind, on-line credit and debit card payments are processed by Secure Trading.
9. Home demonstration
Only one free home visit per customer in eligible areas. Any further visits / requested follow up calls may be charged. There is no obligation to buy anything if you have a home visit.
10. Baby shower party
Available in selected areas only. Involves a 11/2 hour demonstration of baby products. Host's 5% discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Free gift applies for total party spend of over £300 after any special offers are applied and does not include the purchase of eco disposables.
11. Trial pack
This is a nappy rental service offered by mamigreen. Nappies rented will not be new but are in good condition and are washed according to the PAS guidelines to make sure they are hygienically clean. You may choose which items to rent, up to a maximum of 3 different nappies and 1 white PUL wrap. Pack includes free trial of washable wipes and fleece liner (returnable with nappies), and free disposable paper liners. You can also hire eco balls to try during your trial period.
Rental period is 2 weeks commencing 3 days after dispatch. Return must be received within 3 days of end of rental period otherwise charges will be applied. Late returns are charged at £6.00 per week. Any items not returned within 4 weeks of commencement of rental period will become your property and deposit will not be returned.
Return of nappies to mamigreen is your responsibility. I cannot be held responsible for any items lost or damaged in return post. Nappies must be returned complete, clean and undamaged. Full retail cost of any items returned damaged or in an unusable condition will be deducted from the deposit. Please wash the items in a same colour wash. If any item is discoloured as a result of a colour run, the full retail cost of the coloured item will be deducted from the deposit.
Charges include
administration fee of £5.00 hire charge of £1.50 per item trialled for 2 weeks £2.99 postage and packing charge £50.00 deposit refunded upon return of nappiesHire charge will be refunded from your first order over £100.00 from mamigreen (please state that you wish to recieve this reund in the comments box at the checkout). Please note that this offer does not extend to any late charges incurred. Trial packs do not qualify for free delivery. One trial pack per household.
12. Starter pack
You may choose up to 3 different nappies plus 1 white PUL wrap. Pack includes a handful of free paper liners. Pack attracts 5% discount on full retail prices. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. One trial pack per household.
13. Second hand nappies
These may be ex-demonstration nappies or second hand nappies from private sellers. Nappies are all described as accurately as possible. Mamigreen cannot guarantee second hand nappies or accept returns. Mamigreen cannot be responsible for any second hand nappies that have got lost in the post. They are posted to the buyer from private sellers, however it is always advisable for the seller to receive a free proof of sending from Royal Mail.
14. Eco disposables
Bambo Nature Nappies are only available for local customers with free delivery throughout most of Cardiff if order is over £30 or more (can be mixed bag sizes). You may purchase less if you are happy to collect. Bambo Nature are also available to buy in sigle packs during mamigreen nappuchino sessions on the first Friday of every month 10am - 12.15pm at Café Junior, Cardiff CF24 4EH. Eco disposable are excluded from any promotions advertised on this site.
15. Environmental policy
As a business promoting eco-friendly products, my environmental policy, based on the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle, is central to the way mamigreen operates.
1 All paperwork produced by mamigreen is printed on 100% recycled paper. 2 All waste paper is reused if possible (eg. as scrap or for children's use), otherwise it is shredded and composted. 3 For outer packaging, I try and reuse packaging sent to me from suppliers. Otherwise I use new biodegradable eco poly-bags. 4 Inner packaging is minimised as far as possible to reduce resource consumption. However I offer a gift wrapping service where your order will be packed luxuriously for that special occasion, whilst still using recycled and sustainable materials. 5 Wherever possible Royal Mail is used as I consider this the most eco friendly option as they do not make individual journeys. For some larger orders where cost is prohibitive I will use a courier service. 6 mamigreen strives for energy efficiency in all aspects of the business. This includes use of local Post Office and bank, both of which are in walking distance. 7 In choosing which products to stock, mamigreen concentrates on manufacturers within the UK, especially Wales, to reduce the environmental impact of transportation. Where I have chosen to stock products from overseas, usually because of their high quality, I aim to ensure these suppliers have a sound environmental policy.
